Breaking News Today, Costa Rica’s Turrialba Volcano Erupts Again.
Turrialba is only two hours from San Jose airport but feels like a completely different world and that will never happen again when the volcano, one of Costa Rica’s most active, erupted last night at 21: 27 . according to Ovsicori, Costa Rica’s ministry of volcanoes. Reports of light ash and sulfur odors as far away as Escazu, San Pedro and Belen were reported. Volcanic activity has stopped for now. The National Park recently reopened after a period of consistent volcanic activity raised concerns, leading to its closure.
